Ayurveda considers health as more than the absence of disease. Its approach brings mind, body and soul together, with an individual plan that takes account of your health, daily life and circumstances.
The aim is to understand the person as a whole: physical symptoms, emotional experience, food, work, relationships and the rhythms of daily life. Your consultation explores what is happening now, your history and the priorities that matter to you.
Ayurvedic care can include Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle counselling, appropriate Ayurvedic medication, follow-up consultations and, when appropriate, an in-person Panchakarma programme. The plan is selected individually and reviewed as your situation changes.
Ayurvedic care considers mind, body and soul together, rather than symptoms in isolation.
The consultation considers your physical and emotional experience within this holistic perspective.
Your needs, health concerns and goals guide an individual Ayurvedic plan.
The first consultation explores your situation; follow-up helps refine care over time.
The doshas arise from combinations of the five elements; they are rooted in them.
Vata is rooted in space and air, Pitta in fire and water, and Kapha in water and earth.
Ayurvedic philosophy connects the individual with nature and everyday wellbeing.
The vision is to share Ayurvedic knowledge and support balance and a meaningful life.
In Ayurveda, the doshas arise from combinations of the five elements: space (ether), air, fire, water and earth. The doshas are rooted in these elements; they are not separate from them.
| Dosha | Elemental roots |
|---|---|
| Vata | Space (ether) + air |
| Pitta | Fire + water |
| Kapha | Water + earth |
This describes an Ayurvedic conceptual framework, not chemical elements, laboratory measurements or a biomedical diagnosis.
These concepts describe Ayurvedic philosophy. Individual care complements local medical assessment and treatment.
Consultations address health concerns as well as diet and lifestyle. Greeshma reviews your symptoms, previous diagnoses, current treatments and available investigations, then discusses an individual Ayurvedic treatment plan and the follow-up needed. Online care can stand on its own or help prepare an in-person programme.
These consultation topics can be explored online. Nadi Pariksha (pulse examination) requires an in-person appointment.
The consultation is not limited to general wellbeing advice. It can assess disease-related concerns and develop an individual Ayurvedic treatment plan when the proposed care is clinically appropriate and permitted. Remote assessment does not establish that every condition can be treated online.
Already assessed digestive, skin, joint, menstrual or metabolic conditions can be discussed alongside your existing medical care. The aim is an individual plan, symptom follow-up and coordination with your treating clinician, rather than stopping prescribed treatment.
Recent symptoms or short episodes can be discussed if they are non-urgent and suitable for remote assessment. Greeshma first checks whether an examination, tests or prompt local treatment is needed. Emergencies and symptoms requiring examination are referred to local care.
An individual assessment of your symptoms, history, medicines, supplements and Ayurvedic constitution. Discuss treatment options, Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle measures, suitability for remote care and a clear plan for follow-up.
Review changes in symptoms and the response to your agreed treatment, including any adverse effects. Greeshma adjusts suitable Ayurvedic recommendations, reviews progress and determines whether further investigations or an in-person programme are needed.
All consultations are billed hourly at 60 US dollars (USD) per hour, based on actual duration. An initial consultation usually lasts about 90 minutes, for an estimated total of 90 USD. A follow-up usually lasts about 60 minutes, for an estimated total of 60 USD. These are estimates, not fixed packages: if a consultation takes longer, the amount increases at the same hourly rate. Confirm any applicable taxes and interpretation costs before payment. Products and residential Panchakarma packages are quoted separately.

The examples below illustrate concerns that may be assessed in a consultation. Suitability, treatment options and the need for local examination are decided individually; inclusion here is not a claim that Ayurveda has proven efficacy for every condition.
Bloating, constipation, reflux and previously diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome: review symptoms, food patterns and options for an individual Ayurvedic plan. Persistent or unexplained symptoms may need local investigations.
Difficulty falling asleep, disrupted sleep, stress and mild anxiety symptoms: explore contributing factors and a personalised approach. Severe mental-health symptoms need appropriate local care.
Weight management and complementary support for already diagnosed, stable type 2 diabetes or lipid disorders. Continue medical monitoring and prescribed treatment; medication changes remain with your treating clinician.
Previously assessed osteoarthritis, chronic joint discomfort and muscular tension: discuss symptoms, function and a complementary care plan. New pain, injury or a hot swollen joint requires examination.
Previously assessed menstrual discomfort, premenstrual symptoms and menopausal symptoms: discuss an individual Ayurvedic approach alongside gynaecological care when needed. Pregnancy and abnormal bleeding need specific medical assessment.
Already diagnosed eczema, psoriasis or recurrent dry skin: discuss symptoms and complementary care. Images alone may be insufficient; new, changing or infected lesions require local assessment.
Ongoing fatigue or recovery after an illness that has been medically assessed: review your health context and possible Ayurvedic support. Unexplained fatigue needs investigation before it is attributed to lifestyle.
Follow-up after an in-person consultation or programme in Kerala: review the agreed plan, symptoms, tolerability and any need for further examination. Hands-on therapies and Panchakarma require in-person care.
The agreed plan may combine lifestyle measures, appropriate Ayurvedic medication, with regular follow-up or referral for Panchakarma. Product recommendations depend on interactions, contraindications, quality and local rules; supplies and treatment costs are separate from consultation fees.
Online assessment cannot replace a physical examination or urgent care. Chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness, severe abdominal pain, significant bleeding or a mental-health crisis require local urgent services. New or worsening symptoms may need an in-person assessment before complementary care.
These are consultation topics, not claims of proven treatment effectiveness. Evidence for many Ayurvedic treatments is limited. Ayurvedic care complements your local medical care; do not stop prescribed treatment on your own. Read the evidence and safety information ↗
A personalised Ayurvedic programme, combining selected procedures, massage, supportive therapies and diet under an Ayurveda physician’s supervision.
Staying with us is mandatory throughout your Panchakarma programme. Packages combine accommodation, food and Panchakarma care. Suitability, duration, inclusions and price are confirmed with Greeshma before booking.
The physician selects appropriate procedures after assessment; a programme does not automatically include all five. These procedures require in-person supervision and must not be attempted at home.
Purvakarma preparation and Snehapana precede selected procedures. Paschadkarma includes individual diet and follow-up.
These are programme formats, not a prescription or guarantee of results. Greeshma confirms the appropriate format and the accommodation, meals and care included in your individual quotation.

Consultations can address disease-related concerns as well as diet and lifestyle. Pulse examination and hands-on treatments cannot be performed online.
